  1. How do you like disc bound? I found it awkward even though I love the aesthetic. I mean, can you imagine copper rings in a espresso or chocolate leather planner? #swoon

  2. @thelimelamb I like it. I used it for work about 10 years ago and it *really* helped. I had a lot of meetings, tasks, and lots of reading matter, so the flexibility was nice. I still love Filofaxes, but having gone through so many binders with iffy rings…I’m reluctant to add any more to my small collection. And I find I don’t have to be as delicate with discs as I do with rings. It can look cheap, but these aluminum discs aren’t bad at all. I was tempted by the Gillios, but in the end, I needed larger space without the bulk of a ring organizer. I made a list of pros and cons for all the formats I have, and this was the best solution for me at the moment.

  3. I’ve never had issues with the rings on my Franklin Coveys. Most of their rings are huge compared to some of the other brands and let me tell you I put them through hell. My one I’ve had for 6 years and cats and dogs have all walked on it, it’s been thrown about, and never once did it occur to me to be nice to my rings. I have never had a Filofax, but I have a Kikki-K that is ok. My A5 Franklin holds my heart though. I use it as a project planner. I also now have a personal size FC whose rings are ginormous. Especially compared to the Color Crush line by Websters Pages. My pets are rude and walk on that one too.
